About the Role
We are seeking a driven and proactive Cloud Sales Specialist to accelerate our Cloud, Data & AI business by acquiring new customers and developing new revenue streams. This role is heavily focused on new business development, prospecting, and closing deals for advanced technology services.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong hunting skills, able to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for cloud, data, and AI services and solutions
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound activities, networking, and referrals
Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure
Engage and influence key stakeholders, including C-level and senior decision-makers
Understand customer business challenges and propose scalable solutions (Cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; Data platforms; AI capabilities)
Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to design winning solutions
Manage objections and competitive situations effectively to close deals
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and opportunity data in our internal systems
Stay current on market trends, competitors, and customer needs
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in new business sales, preferably in cloud or technology services
Solid understanding of cloud concepts and value propositions
Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business benefits
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
High level of resilience and ability to perform in a competitive, fast-paced environment
Strong commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth
Experience using sales automation tools
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Experience selling cloud, data, or AI solutions to mid-market or enterprise customers
Existing network or prospect base
Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud – an advantage)
Relevant sales or cloud certifications
